Anil Desai, MCSE, MCSA, MCSD, and MCDBA, is an independent consultant in Austin, Texas. He specializes in evaluating, developing, and managing solutions based on Microsoft technologies. He is also a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) for Windows Server. Anil is the author of many technical books, including Managing a Windows Server 2003 Environment Exam Guide (Osborne/McGraw-Hill), Windows 2000 Directory Services Administration Exam Guide (Sybex), Windows NT Network Management: Reducing Total Cost of Ownership (New Riders Press), and SQL Server 2000 Backup and Recovery (Osborne/McGraw-Hill).
